Where the hell is the Iberian Peninsula Anyway

I think this is my third time to Spain and second to Barcelona for sure. I was beat up and mugged there about 15 years ago and despite the advice of my sensei I came back seeking revenge. Denise was with me so I had to be on my best behaviors so those feckers are safe (for now).

Barcelona is funky as ever with the Sagrada Familiar still under construction with a finish time of the 24th century. The Picasso Museum was a highlight and the Gothic Barrio was also interesting. It was also interesting that they sell wine in Barcelona and Tapas and it is also interesting that I has too much of both. I think Denise did too but I should speak for her but she doesn’t read my blog so she had too much tapas and wine but mostly she had too much wine.

From Barcelona we went to Valencia which whilst planning  we thought would be the highlight of the trip. While a great city and the birthplace of paella how bad could it be. It was fecking great. I really nice old town, large beach, wine and tapas and one day I think we had tapas and wine. Our hotel was smack downtown, overlooking the promenade which gave quick access to the wine and to the tapas. We spent the day of the beach and I secretly  stared at Denise in her bathing suit. We were moving at a very quick pace as we thought the next city might have wine and tapas so we boarded a train and headed for Seville. This was the highlight of Spain for both of us. A charming city with lots to do and a great vibe. And much to our surprise the had wine and tapas. They also have an incredible Cathedral, which also makes for a great museum. I was there before but forgot about its grandeur and splendor. It also houses the well-traveled remains of Christopher Columbus . That was very thrilling for me to see again.  As an aside, Denise is on a shoe kick and I think I have seen every shoe store on the Iberian Peninsula, where ever the hell that is.
