Nicaragua and Cuba 2016
Another hitch done. Looking forward to spending some time in
Nicaragua. Nothing planned per se. Read, rest, maybe get my surf board out and
boogie boards, butcher the Spanish language and do some mountain biking. And
maybe some Xbox.
From Coco to San Juan in only 17k but the hills are brutal.
Steep and long, I have yet to see a local do it. They are tough as nails but
generally push the bikes up the hills. I lost a bit of weight and spent a lot
of time on the stationary bike last hitch so I want to keep that going so I am
going to try to bike all the way into town including the hills. Pray for
Frankie.
I took a different route this time,
Dubai-Amsterdam-Atlanta-Managua on KLM and Delta. I generally fly Star Alliance
but it the connections and increased prices were prohibitive as per TAQA’s
travel policy.
A great trip so far with just lots of reading and sleeping and
showing Margarita around.
Time to start thinking about getting ready for Cuba.
I joined Instagram and I am shocked to learn that I still don't have more followers that Selma Gomez so for the love of God follow me on Instagram so I can get to a 100 million followers by next week.
These are pictures of Rancho Relaxo and the beach I live on.
